For ease of use, the light is automatically turned off when put back in its holster, but provides you with the ability to disable the automatic function if the situation requires it. The light combines a 600-lumen, single-output, LED light with a 635nm Class IIIa red aiming laser, and can be mounted on pistols and rifles with Picatinny/Weaver rails. It features a Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens that produces a pre-focused beam with a tight center cone of bright light, and a dimmer ring on the periphery to help maintain situational awareness. An ambidextrous toggle switch controls the momentary and constant-on modes, and are easily accessible for your support hand to keep a firm and secure grip on your weapon. The selector switch, located behind the laser, switches the output modes and features a lock-out function to prevent accidental activation during storage or when strict light discipline must be maintained.
