Combines a visible green laser and an IR laser (for use with night-vision devices) plus an IR illuminator in many configs. “Civilian” or export/LE variants are often limited to Class 1 or Class 3R output levels to comply with regulations (Class 3R =? 5 mW for visible lasers; Class 1 is eye-safe under normal use/within device). Designed to mount on a Picatinny/Weaver rail, with pressure pad/remote switch for momentary/constant operation and multiple mode settings (visible/IR/illuminator/strobe). Typical features (what to expect). Visible green laser (usually 532 nm) – easier to see in daylight than red lasers. IR laser + IR illuminator (for night-vision ops) – invisible to the naked eye. Multiple user modes: visible only, IR only, visible+IR, illuminator on, range of strobe or IR pulse modes on some units. Picatinny rail mounting clamp with adjustable windage/elevation for zeroing the laser. Remote pressure pad switch and/or ambidextrous push buttons on the unit. Rugged, anodized aluminum housing; often water-resistant or sealed to some MIL-spec level. Power: commonly run on CR123A batteries or 1×CR2-check the manual for the exact cell. Size/weight: compact but heavier than a simple laser pointer – expect something in the few-hundreds of grams range. Class 3R visible lasers can injure eyes if stared into at close range – never point at people’s faces or reflective surfaces. IR laser + illuminator are invisible to naked eye – extra caution required because you won’t see the beam. Treat any IR device as capable of causing eye damage. When using around aircraft or public spaces, be aware of strict laws about shining lasers at aircraft and people – heavy penalties in many jurisdictions. The Crimson Trace LS-250G is a receiver-mounted green laser sighting module designed specifically for certain Mossberg shotguns. It’s part of Crimson Trace’s LaserSaddleT series and provides a visible aiming dot that helps with faster target acquisition. Green laser (5 mW, 532 nm) – bright, visible aiming point. Receiver saddle mount – sits on top of the shotgun’s receiver without interfering with side saddles or other accessories. Ambidextrous activation pads – multiple contact points for intuitive on/off pressure activation. Adjustable windage & elevation – user-adjustable to align the laser with the shotgun’s point of impact. Master On/Off switch – fully powers down for storage or travel. Battery life 3 hours – uses four CR2016 batteries (included). Dot size 0.50? At 50 ft – standard visible dot for aiming. Mossberg 500, 590 & 590 Shockwave (12 ga and 20 ga) with drilled & tapped receiver. Does not fit. 410 bore, 590M, 500 ATP, or receivers without proper holes. ? What It Is. This is not a rail accessory like a Picatinny laser, but a saddle-style module that bolts to the top of the shotgun receiver. The key feature of this sight is a rimless reflector attachment that doesn’t block any field of fire sections; instead, reflector is protected by thin and durable visor that is almost un-noticeable when firing. The OKP-7 is a precision-engineered green dot reflex sight that allows for quick, accurate aiming at close to medium distance for rifles with Picatinny rails. Side Lens Hood (Curved Cover See Picture): This curved hood protects the interior reflector assembly from scrapes and light impacts. It also blocks strong ambient light from the side and improves dot contrast. Lightweight Design: Reduces overall weight and improves maneuverability and mobility.
