The Liberty ll dot sight, with its innovative design and construction, takes your shooting experience to the next level. Optimized for competition and long gun use, Liberty ll includes features such as a 3 MOA dot or multi-reticle emitter, a slim profile, top loaded battery, durable body, and an expansive 24mm window. 3 MOA dot or Muli-Reticle emitter. Liberty ll uses a CR1632 battery, NOT included in the box and NOT pre-inserted into the optic. Remove the battery cap located on the top of the housing using a T10 Torx wrench or the included S-wing tool. Insert the CR1632 battery with the “+” side facing up into the battery compartment. Then place the battery cap back on and screw clockwise until tight. Confirm that the optic powers on by holding the brightness UP button. Press the brightness UP button to turn on the optic. Hold the brightness DOWN button for 3 seconds to manually turn off the optic. When the optic is powered back on, it will automatically return to the previous brightness level. Liberty ll features Shake N’ Wake, a power-saving function that automatically turns off the illumination after about four minutes of no movement. The optic immediately “wakes up” as soon as movement is detected, without requiring the user to press any button. This feature is seamlessly integrated into the optics function and cannot be activated or deactivated as a separate mode. Liberty ll has 10 brightness settings that can be adjusted using the up and down arrow buttons on the sides of the unit. The first two settings are NV compatible. Settings 3 to 5 ensure adequate reticle contrast in low light environments, while settings 6 to 8 are suitable for indoor ranges and home defense. Settings 9 and 10 are daylight bright and should be used only in very bright conditions to avoid unwanted glare and reticle bloom. RETICLE – 3 MOA. Liberty ll is offered in either a 3 MOA or a multi-reticle variant. The 3 MOA will have red illumination, All Liberty ll models use MOA subtensions. One Minute of Angle is equivalent to approximately 1 at 100 yards, or. 75 at 75 yards. 50 at 50 yards, etc. 3 MOA is 1.5″ at 50 yards, or 3″ at 100 yards. The multi-reticle variant provides 4 reticle options, including a 3 MOA center dot. At 50 yards, a 3 MOA dot is 1.5″, or 3 MOA is 3″ at 100 yards. When changing between reticle options, your subtensions will not change. This allows for reliability and versatility across firearm platforms. To change the reticle, press and hold the UP button for 3 seconds. You will have to stop pressing the button and re-press in order to cycle to the next reticleoption again. Liberty ll comes with four sets of screws in the most common thread size, in case they are needed. M3.5×0.6, Thread Length 10.2mm, T10. #4-40, Thread Length 5.0 mm, T10. #6-32, Thread Length 8.5mm, T10. #6-32, Thread Length 8.0 mm, T10. Before Installation, confirm the firearm is unloaded. Place the optic in the footprint, making sure the screw holes align. Once properly mounted, take the proper screws and begin threading with even pressure through the optic into the slide. Lf none are specified, use blue thread-locker on the screw threads and torque to no more than 15 inch-pounds. Liberty ll is parallax-free at 33 yards, and at closer ranges, the error is minimal and won’t affect the point of impact. However, some parallax will be noticeable beyond 100 yards. The window of Liberty ll is available for aiming at very close ranges, and if you can see the reticle anywhere in the window, it can be used as a point of aim. For consistent hits at longer ranges, it’s best to keep the reticle centered in the window. ELEVATION AND WINDAGE ADJUSTMENTS. To adjust windage, rotate the dial clockwise to move the dot right and counter-clockwise to move the dot left. To adjust elevation, rotate the dial clockwise to move the dot up and counter-clockwise to move the dot down. CAUTION: Do not overtighten your windage or elevation adjustments. PLEASE NOTE: lf you have a Liberty ll model with the multi-reticle function, zero the optic using the center dot. Example: You are shooting at 25 yards and aiming at the center of the target but impacting 2 inches low and 6 inches to the right. You would need to adjust the elevation dial 8 clicks up and the windage dial 24 clicks to the right to compensate for the offset. Before cleaning your optic lens, make sure to blow away any dust or grit on the lens to prevent the lens from being scratched while cleaning. Always use a soft cloth when cleaning your lens. Lf you are noticing that the dot is impartial or star bursting, you might have debris blocking the emitter, To remove this debris without causing compromise to the optics, use a Q-tip and gently brush the emitter.
