Bought brand new before I ever even bought my first handgun thinking that I would be able to put it on as soon as I got one but I ended up getting a firearm with no rail so I have no use for this anymore.

This was only taken out 3x as it was more of my backup to the Wilcox Raid XE. I have installed and will also include the Villain Weap. This is nice if you have the DBAL at the 12 o’clock position and you can install your own rear sight of choice and no longer need a BUIS front sight. The diffuser is a must have. The DBAL D2 is known for it’s incredible power. I compared this to a full power PEQ and this seemed just as good without the price tag of a PEQ. This thing seriously outputs a ton of illumination and can be easily adjusted by the objective of the illuminator. I set it close to being fully focused (tight beam) but not all the way, and then threw the diffuser cap over. This gave me the ability to shoot up close with the diffuser on, and then for targets at range I could quickly flip off the diffuser cap and have the tight beam for distance. The illuminator is quite a big better on this than my Wilcox, but I like the features of the Wilcox so I no longer have need for this DBAL.

Mount is solid and features adjustment bar so you can control where it sits in relation to the rail. Solid battery life and good visibility in most lighting conditions.
